The Church prepares its first Jubilee for a thousand Catholic influencers.

The Vatican will bring together digital evangelizers on July 28 and 29, with notable representation from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain.

The Vatican will bring together nearly a thousand digital evangelizers from around the world on July 28 and 29 for an in-person and virtual gathering that will include moments of prayer and training. For the first time in its history, the Catholic Church will celebrate a jubilee event as part of a Holy Year dedicated especially to virtual missionaries and Catholic influencers , formally recognizing the online world as an "authentic mission field," according to the Holy See's Vatican News website.
Several young people who evangelize on social media will actively participate in the celebrations. The event, organized by the Dicastery for Communication, will feature significant representation from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain.
All attendees will share the Gospel through social media, video platforms, blogs, and apps. In-person registration is now closed, but online registration remains open. In addition, the two main formative moments of the Jubilee will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the project The Church Listens to You, which was convened by Pope Francis with the aim of bringing evangelization to the digital world, without excluding anyone from the synodal process.
This Jubilee responds to his intention to "Samaritanize" the digital environment. With this expression, the Pontiff invited us to inhabit social media. The initiative also follows the first meeting of digital evangelizers, held during World Youth Day in Lisbon in 2023, where an international network was born .
In the coming days, the official Jubilee website will make available an exclusive spiritual guide to accompany you inwardly through the experience of the event. Graphic materials and promotional texts are now available for download, promoting the missionary dimension both in Rome and in the digital peripheries of the world.
On the occasion of the Jubilee , the official anthem Todos has been presented. This is a collective musical production that brings together Catholic artists from various countries and languages. In Spanish, Aldana Canale, Juan Delgado, Pablo Martínez, Fruto del Madero, and Padre Jota participate. In French, Praise Louange and Hopenmusic; in Italian, Francesco Lorenzi of The Sun; in Korean, Junho Chu; in English, Josh Blakesley and Francesca Larosa; and in Portuguese, the Shalom Missionary group.
