The p. Raymond Ambroise, a former executive secretary of the communications office of the FABC (Conference of the Federation of Asian Bishops) passed away yesterday due to a massive heart attack. He was 75 years old. He was the first person to introduce 'Media Literacy' in India. He worked as Director of Amruthavani (Regional Communication Center) and Andhra Pradesh Social Service Society in the past. He made the first full-length feature film about Jesus in India titled 'Karunamayudu', which became a box office hit in Andhra Pradesh, later dubbed into more than 16 languages. He also made 100 TV episodes about Jesus titled 'Dayasagar'. It was associated with Unda / OCIC and later SIGNIS closely. He gave the opening address for the SIGNIS Asian Assembly held in Myanmar a few years ago. He was also the consultant for Radio Veritas, who introduced many changes for its growth. He dedicated his entire life to the poor. He established a home for the elderly and lived there until death. Her older brother, retired Bishop Yuon Ambroise, will deliver the funeral mass this morning in Hyderabad. May his soul rest in peace
