On a day like today, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a document that vindicates the inalienable and inherent rights of all people without distinction of ethnicity, religion, language, sex, political opinions. , identity, or any other condition, and underlines the importance of considering that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.

Understanding communication as a fundamental human right, we encourage that in audiovisual productions and in digital environments it be claimed as such and that it be an instrument that allows the rights of girls, boys and adolescents to be made effective.

From this space we call on professionals and media managers to assume a joint commitment that makes it possible to disseminate content framed in an egalitarian, pluralistic and diverse communication. This means generating program formats aimed at children and adolescents in which their effective participation prevails, which also addresses their interests and concerns, stimulates creativity, respects their identities and promotes human rights in all their scopes and manifestations.
