UNESCO recognizes Argentine foundation for its commitment to media literacy

This year, LAS OTRAS VOCES, Comunicación para la Democracia - (LOV) , a non-profit Civil Association created in 2004 with the aim of promoting the exercise of the right to communication and education from childhood, was recognized together to the Argentine journalist Silvia Bacher .

The prize awarded by UNESCO seeks to highlight and share good practices in promoting MIL so that people can benefit from digital transformation, while resisting misinformation; motivate other stakeholders about MIL-related initiatives to continue driving change; draw international attention to the positive effects of Media and Information Literacy activities , and thereby promote sustainability.
