“We The Power” , a documentary that focuses on the citizen movement for community renewable energy, can now be seen online through the YouTube channel of the Patagonia brand, which produced the film.

The 38-minute documentary tells how a group of neighbors in Europe manages to put aside the traditional energy system based on polluting fossil fuels to empower themselves and leave the production of clean electricity in their hands.
"We The Power" follows friends, families and visionaries who, faced with an adverse scenario, break down legislative barriers and manage to strengthen small towns and their locals.
According to the calculations of the producers, by 2050 some 260,000,000 people could be part of this movement and generate 45 percent of the electricity in the European Union .
