A team made up of journalists Luís Henrique Marques (editor-in-chief), Cleonice Nascimento (daily reporter), Karla Maria and Osnilda Lima (special reporters), held their first meeting to define the news agenda and draw the first editorial guidelines for the articles specials that will be offered by the SIGNIS News Agency, promoted by the Brazilian partner of SIGNIS. As reported by the editor in chief, Luís Henrique Marques, on his Facebook profile, in the first work meeting some basic work dynamics were organized for the team responsible for producing news and reports on the Church, with special emphasis on its prophetic mission .

This project, which is currently in an experimental phase, is an initiative of SIGNIS Brasil (Catholic Communication Association), which hopes to have the collaboration of all partners.

As the vice president of SIGNIS Brasil, Osnilda Lima, commented to the Ciudad Nueva magazine ( Cidade Nova ), “this project will bring a differentiation for the Church, for social pastorals, for popular movements, always in light of communication for the culture of peace. We feel that in Brazil there is a lack of an agency that collects all this information, all these actions of the Church, of the deepest Church, of places where no one reaches but the Church is present and is making a difference. Often this is not made visible, it is not communicated. This agency project wants to be an organic spokesperson for this Church ”.

For Osnilda Lima, "It is important to realize that, as a church, as a society, as popular movements, as social pastoralists, we have a very strong force and we end up working in a very individualized way." However, he assures that, when the different media are articulated, each one is strengthened in the peculiarity of their missions, which is why he highlighted the meeting of the printed media to define a joint agenda.

“When we heard an emergency from the Church, a complaint, an announcement, we made this agenda in a multimedia way and we replicated it in all the media. This ended up establishing a very strong force. Today, those who have taken much of this action are the Catholic television stations, in the broadcasting pool, whether they are actions of the Church, other guidelines, or the Vatican itself ”, adds Osnilda Lima.
